Coronavirus update 26th March 2020:
Woodberry Wetlands will be closed from 3.30pm on Thurday 26th March.
The London Wildlife Trust have come to the decision to close the reserve for the time being. The paths and in particular the boardwalk at Woodberry are too narrow for us to be able to guarantee the required two metre social distancing guidelines.
Open after 180 years
Woodberry Wetlands is an operating reservoir, originally constructed in 1833 and closed to public access ever since. Working with Thames Water, London Wildlife Trust has carefully built an urban wetland oasis rich in wildlife.
