Bring a touch of winter wonderland to your home by making your own Christmas decorations using natural and locally sourced materials. In this fun and relaxed session you’ll use twigs, ferns, dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks and pine cones to make a set of decorations to hang around your home or on your Christmas tree.

All materials are provided though you’ll welcome to bring any materials from home you’d like to use*. Tuition is under the guidance of Craft Expert Momtaz Begum-Hossain, the creator of The Make Escape, who regularly runs craft workshops across London.

No experience is necessary. You’ll leave with a set of decorations and enjoy a unique Saturday night, doing something creative – a perfect chance to have some down time before the busy Christmas week gets underway. Come alone or with friends, we look forward to welcoming you!

* Please bring a bag or box to carry your decorations home.

Proceeds from events at Woodberry Wetlands go back into conservation work by London Wildlife Trust, funding our important conservation work, and continuing free public access to the Wetlands. We thank you for your support.

The Coal House cafe will be serving snacks and beverages.

Evening session, for grown-ups only.
