Event Volunteers

Get the opportunity to enjoy and support Woodberry Wetlands on a regular basis through welcoming new visitors and assisting with a variety of events at this magical nature reserve. If you have time to spare, a welcoming smile and would like to gain some experience working with us on a variety of events projects we would love to hear from you!

Current Event Volunteering Opportunities

Walks & Tours: We are currently looking for volunteers to assist our tour leaders on various wildlife walks. This is a great opportunity to learn and train to lead tours on your own. Courses & Workshops:  Instructors for several of our courses will require teaching assistants for both classroom and outdoor-based learning workshops. Thus far, these courses include Urban Beekeeping, Wildlife Illustration, Survival & Bushcraft, Wildlife Gardening, Wild Food & Remedies and Natural Cosmetics Workshops. Event Production & Management Stewards:  We will be putting together a team of volunteer stewards and production assistants to assist us in managing our bigger events and festivals throughout the year.
